My Magicjack number is 226-777-xxxx (London, Ontario Canada). While MJ has been in Canada for a while, it has only been offering local, Canadian numbers over the last month or two. In reading some of the other discussion on here, it would appear that my fast busy may be somehow related to this "newness". Here is what happens with me.

I have been using magic jack since May 2009 in Tanger - Morocco, and just this week I seem to be blocked. Is there any one else having this problem ... Menera Telecom is not helping - nor magic jack. My jack states no connection..... yet I am able to chat with M.Jack personnel from the jack ..... Is there any way to get unblocked....

On the old thread "what is error 9" discuss this is some thing to do with VPN.

I encounter this error yesterday after I use my PC to connection to different network with static ip address. (multiple static ip address on my PC).

- Trouble shoot with MJ live support just go through the basic trial and error so decide to go to bed first.
- This morning reboot all my network devices still not ...

Any one else get the "LUCKY YOU" update today?? If so, anyone know what the heck they broke.... uh I mean "updated"??

Has anybody else managed to get their MagicJack to work on Mac OS 10.3.9?

Today, twice, when calling someone with another MagicJack, my connection was terminated for no reason. Both times, it was just seconds past the 30 min mark.

I remember when MJ was terminating calls after 1 hour, and then they extended it to 2 hours.Recently, I've been having issues with both my MJ and my friend's MJ sounding "robotic", like they really cranked up the compression, or lowered the data-rate, at times during the phone call. ...

First, when I called Magic Jacks technical support department and asked if they had a telephone exchange that would be a local call from 352-589 my local exchange, their Technician told that there was, but would not give me the number of that local exchange.
